I can't believe we are already on day five! This week is flying by. It's a good thing for people like myself that are working for 'the man'. When I saw our fifth artists work, it made me think, made me a little sad, am I doing what I love? For more hours of the day than not I am not doing something I hate, I actually quite like it but sometimes that entails working for someone that may or may not be as nice and kind as I would prefer. Then I really got to thinkin', I do what I do right now to keep a roof over our heads, but as long as I do what I truly love some of the day, it gives me a beacon of light at the end of the tunnel that I am not settling, that I'm not stagnant, that perhaps I will one day be able to do what I love ALL the time. I think this letterpressed print from artist Hijiri would be a perfect reminder to do just that...
The print is 1 of 50, letterpressed by hand with vintage wood block letters. The question today to be able to take this home with you is:
What do you love to do?
We will have Hijiri pick her favorite answer and announce the winner next Friday. Please visit artists 1-4 as well, you still have plenty of time to play...
